Welcome to the Reel People Films Home Page
For those of you who don't know us, we are a community film group based in Kilmersdon in Somerset, about 30 minutes southwest of Bath and 15 minutes northwest of Frome on the B3139. We formed in 1998 and in our first 10 years won four national awards including Best UK Film Group on two separate occasions.
Everyone is welcome at Reel People Films – you can come along as a guest for £6 on the door or you can join us for the whole season of 8 films – see Membership Information here.
We run a season of films each year from the Autumn through to the Spring – we aim to show films which may not have been shown locally or have passed you by. There's always a wide variety with hopefully, something for everyone. We show films in the English language and films from around the world which might introduce you to a different look at life or culture and these films are subtitled. In the past we have also run a themed event outside the main season when we serve food and might have live music before the film.

Membership of Reel People costs £30 per person and gives free entry to all 8 main season films.
A special discounted 'Early Bird' membership is available for £25 per person but only pre-season or at the first screening on 20th October 2023.

All film screenings take place at Kilmersdon Village Hall, BA3 5TB on our giant screen in HD or UHD with 5.1 surround sound. Films start at 8pm but the doors and bar open at 7.15pm so you can choose your seat and have a drink and a chat before the film. The bar offers a selection of wines, beers, ciders and soft drinks. We also serve coffee and tea.
There is parking available directly outside the Village Hall with some further spaces available on the old garage forecourt to the right-hand side of the Hall. You can also park on-street elsewhere in the village. Click here to view a map of potential parking areas.
