Robert Golden's 'Savouring Europe' - Saturday 4th July - Kilmersdon Village Hall
The first Saturday of this year's Frome Festival is all about food and film.
Robert Golden's 'Savouring Europe' films – 'Italy' and 'Belgium' are magical and memorable films on local food cultures and what that means to both producers and consumers in the different countries of Europe.
Doors open 7pm and the film screening starts at 8pm. A special bar for the evening will reflect the film themes, selling Italian wines and Belgian beers as well as Somerset cider.
In addition delicious taster-plates of food from Italy and Belgium prepared by Philip Campagna will be on sale.
The director Robert Golden will lead a discussion about the films to round off a perfect evening.
Tickets cost £4 from the Frome Festival Box Office 01373 455420 at the Cheese and Grain.
A limited number of tickets will also be available on the door – booking is advised!
Earlier in the day, Robert will be conducting an all-day Photography Masterclass in Frome (details from Festival Box office on 01373 455420). The films and masterclass link with a major exhibition of his photographs at the Silk Mill, Frome, from July 2-15.
